Each week is carefully curated to offer a dynamic blend of activities, including 2 swim lessons, open swimming, GaGa Ball, 4 square, soccer, arts & crafts, S.T.E.M., basketball, t-ball, captivating theme-based special guests, and a weekly field trip. Whether the adventure comes to us or we embark on a bus journey, every activity is thoughtfully tailored to cater to your camper’s age and skill level.
Our mission for the summer is to foster essential life skills and lasting friendships through abundant playtime and a wealth of new experiences. While field trips are subject to weather changes or last-minute opportunities, we’re always on the lookout for exciting new adventures to add to our themed weeks. Week 1: Rise of Summer!
June 9 – June 13
Leap into the ultimate summer experience at Swim&Gym! 🌟Get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure as we fly across the Galaxy to the water-filled planet of SwimWest! 🚀✨ Our Field Trip Extravaganza is to Urban Air! Prepare for a day filled with gravity-defying excitement as we bounce, climb, and soar through this dynamic indoor playground with trampolines galore, Ninja Warrior courses, and a climbing wall to conquer. This week we are taking exploration to new heights.

Week 2: Global Explorers
June 16 – June 20
Dive into a captivating adventure this week as imagination meets exploration! Embark on a journey through time as we transport campers to Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome, and other civilizations long past. The highlight of this week is a field trip to the Madison Geology Museum. Campers will unravel the mysteries of the Earth’s history, encountering fossils, rocks, and artifacts that tell tales of ancient cultures and geological wonders. Creativity takes center stage with our theme-filled crafts. From creating Egyptian hieroglyphics to molding dinosaur fossils. Campers will unleash their artistic talents as they bring ancient worlds to life through their unique masterpieces. Join us for a season of exploration, where the past becomes the present, and learning is an adventure in itself!

Week 3: Jungle Safari
June 23 – June 27
Take off on a Thrilling Safari of Discovery, where the spirit of adventure comes to life. Campers will form teams to conquer thrilling challenges, testing their teamwork, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of the animal kingdom. The excitement doesn’t stop there! A special field trip to Henry Vilas Zoo awaits, where campers will have a Critter Connection interaction. Picture a jungle relay, where teamwork is everything, or engage in solving wildlife puzzles that lead you deeper into the adventure. Capture the essence of the wild in our Creature Capture Challenge and Wild Explorer Adventure. We will also have an exclusive encounter with ZooZort’s fascinating creatures, from wallabies to pythons. Are you ready to race into the wild?

Week 4: Stars and Stripes Spectacular
June 30 – July 3 (4-day week, no camp on July 4th prorated)
Get ready for a week filled with fun, adventure, and celebration! Join us for ultimate dodgeball, ‘red, white, and blue’ relay races, capture the flag, and a fireworks freeze dance-off. We will be splish-splashing as we play and take a dip in the SwimWest pool. On Wednesday our older campers 8 – 12 year-olds will travel to Boulders Climbing Gym, and the younger campers 5 – 7 year-olds will be exploring interactive exhibits at the Madison Children’s Museum. Let the Celebration BEGIN!

Week 5: Swim&Gym Presents…
July 7 – July 11
Get ready to shine during Swim&Gym Presents… at camp! This week is all about discovering and celebrating the unique talents of every camper. Whether it’s singing, dancing, acting, juggling, magic tricks, or something completely unexpected, this is the time for campers to show off their skills and creativity. We’ll have fun rehearsals, workshops to help campers fine-tune their performances, and plenty of opportunities to cheer each other on. The grand finale will be a spectacular talent show where everyone gets a chance to take the stage, show their stuff, and enjoy the spotlight. In addition to our rehearsals, we’ll take a fun field trip to Geeks Mania Arcade and Bowling! Campers will enjoy some friendly competition, and recharge before their big performances. It’s a week of self-expression, confidence-building, and unforgettable camp memories! This week, we will invite all parents to our campuses to watch our TALENT SHOW on Friday!

Week 6: Badgers in the Barnyard
July 14 -18
🧀🌾 Explore the Heart of the Dairyland as we take a deep dive into the rich agricultural heritage of our beloved state, offering an experience that blends learning, adventure, and a whole lot of fun! 🚜 Campers will get hands-on experience at Busy Barns Adventure Farm, where they’ll explore the wonders of farm life, interact with animals, and play fun games. 🐄 We will end our week with a special treat that captures the essence of our state’s culinary heritage. 🧀 Cheese Curd Delight! Camp Kindness is on Friday and we will be collecting non-perishable food for the local food banks.

Week 7: Superhero Academy
July 21 – July 25
Attention all aspiring superheroes! Campers will participate in superhero-themed activities, games, and challenges that promote teamwork, leadership, and self-discovery. Hometown Hero Spotlight: We will be visiting with the brave firefighters and first responders at the Middleton Fire Department. Cool down and unleash your inner superhero powers with a splash-tastic adventure at the Middleton Splash Pad, where water-based challenges and games await. The entire camp will foster a spirit of gratitude by sharing stories and creating thank-you cards for our local heroes.

Week 8: Magical Wizarding World
July 28 – August 1
Calling all Muggle-born Wizards to Swim&Gym to celebrate Harry Potter’s Birthday! Campers will be placed into their houses by the Sorting Hat, playing games of Quidditch, and Dueling in our GaGa Pit. Charms and spells will be seen as we watch a Magic Show from Swim & Gym Wizards! We will also create magical potions and your own special wizard wand. All wizards will take a trip to The Dream Park Playground in Monona for our very own tri-wizards tournament. Get ready to embark on a magical journey filled with spells, potions, a special treat of Chocolate Frogs and Jumping Jelly Beans, and enchanting adventures. A Harry Potter invitation will be sent to each camper that is preregistered for camp.

Week 9: Wild, Wild West
August 4 – August 8
Wild, Wild West at camp is packed with action and creativity, blending frontier fun with your favorite camp activities! On the basketball court, campers will channel their inner cowboys and cowgirls with a special “Shootout Showdown”—a fun twist on basketball where accuracy and quick-draw reflexes make all the difference, just like in the Old West! Gear up for a fast-paced, high-energy “rodeo” in the gaga pit, where campers will compete in thrilling matches to become the ultimate gaga champion. We will experience the rugged beauty of the Wild West at Governor Dodge State Park for a day of exploration. We will hit the trails for a scenic hike, enjoying the views of the landscape just like pioneers on the frontier. We will visit a majestic waterfall—perfect for cooling off. Campers will also have time for a refreshing swim. In our Cowpoke Crafts, we’ll tap into the creativity of the Wild West by creating cowboy hats, designing personalized wanted posters, and even creating western-themed bracelets.

Week 10: Mission Impossible
August 11 – August 15
Embark on an epic journey as you step into the shoes of a spy-in-training. During our Mission Impossible week, campers will show off their agility and cunning with a spy-themed obstacle course. After cracking secret codes and becoming top-notch operatives they will head off on a mission to Schuster’s Farm, where thrilling ziplines, giant jumping pillows, obstacle courses, and live animal encounters await. Sort through the giant spider web before zipping back to campus for top-secret crafts and activities to foster teamwork, critical thinking, and physical fitness.

Week 11: Great Color Showdown
August 18 – August 22
Get ready for an epic week at camp with The Great Color Showdown! This brings campers together for friendly team competitions all week, as we battle it out in colorful challenges—from obstacle courses to relay races. Campers will show their team spirit with custom tie-dye T-shirts and compete for the ultimate bragging rights! It’s a week of teamwork, adventure, and vibrant fun you won’t want to miss! We will end our summer with a beach party at Devil’s Lake State Park, where campers will go on a nature walk, build sand castles, and take a cool dip in the lake! Reflect on our summer of fun with one final colorful BLAST!
